It’s not terribly surprising at this point in his career, but Drake is absolutely dominating the charts, no matter which chart you’re talking about. He currently occupies two of the top three slots on the Hot 100, with another entry at #7. On Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart, he’s got three of the top five and four of the top ten. On our weekly chart, he occupies both top spots with the same song— or rather, his new Lil Baby collab “Yes Indeed” and the unofficial version entitled “Pikachu (No Keys” that leaked under a week earlier.

Atlanta rapper Lil Baby logs his highest-charting Hot 100 hit as “Yes Indeed” starts at No. 49. In his lone prior appearance, he reached No. 71, with My Dawg” in January.
The new track launches at No. 30 on Streaming Songs with 13.6 million U.S. streams
Drake, meanwhile, makes his 163rd Hot 100 appearance, extending his record for the most visits among soloists in the chart’s 59-year history.

The gritty debut LP features 17 bristling tracks with loaded assists enlisted throughout, including Drake, Moneybagg Yo, Young Thug, Gunna, Lil Uzi Vert, Offset, Starlito and fellow ATLien Hoodrich Pablo Juan. Lil Baby also calls on a special cast behind the boards, including such esteemed producers as QC’s Quay Global, DJ Durel, Memphis own Tay Keith, London, Earl the Pearll, Turbo, Atlanta’s Southside and Wheezy.

Clocking in at 17 tracks, Harder Than Ever features more guest appearances than just Drizzy. Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, Migos’ Offset and more all lend their talents to the project. The already infamous “Yes Indeed”, first reported on as being titled “Pickachu”, just made our round up for this week’s best new songs.

The Atlanta rapper Lil Baby is the latest in a string of recent Drake endorsements that also includes BlocBoy JB and Octavian. Baby isn’t as exciting a prospect as either of those artists, but he does seem poised for a breakthrough. His collaboration with Drake, “Yes Indeed” (formerly known as “Pikachu”), unfortunately splits the difference between dispassionate and marble-mouthed, but there are still quotables hidden in their sharply pivoting verses. “Yes Indeed” is produced by Wheezy, and so Drake connects the dots to the Weezy that made him, reflecting on his rap origins with string of muttered run-ons that hardly seem to break.

[Intro: Drake]
Yeah
Wheezy out of here

[Verse 1: Drake]
The dash, it’s digi’, the schedule busy
My head in a hoodie, my shorty a goodie
My cousins are crazy, my cousins like Boogie
Life is amazin’, it is what it should be
Been here for ten but I feel like a rookie
I tell her, “look up” ’cause it’s snowin’ in Tootsie’s
Booked for three years, man you can’t even book me
It’s me and Lil Baby, this shit goin’ crazy
Wheezy produced it and Weezy F. made me
And she held it down, so she got a Mercedes
Young Money Records, the Army, the Navy
They ran me ten thousand, I threw it like Brady
The foreign is yellow like Tracee and K.D
I trusted my niggas, they never betrayed me
Met all these niggas, they sweeter than Sadie
When I started out, I just took what they gave me
Did all the favors, they never repaid me
It worked in my favor, ’cause nobody saved me

[Chorus: Lil Baby]
Brand new whip got no keys
Tailor my clothes, no starch please
Soon as I nut, you can gon’ leave
Got M’s in the bank, like: “Yes, indeed”

[Verse 2: Lil Baby]
Cartier glasses, I won’t even peek at you
Yellow Ferrari like Pikachu
I got ’em waitin’ and watchin’ what he gon’ do
Tryna peep what I do, tryna steal my moves
$2500 for a new pair of tennis shoes
The same price, I could make them youngins come and finish you
Lawyer been chargin’, he a Jewish like he voodoo
Real dope boy, hundred thousand in Evisu
Presidential tints slide by, we don’t see you
I been gettin’ money, I ain’t worried ’bout what he do
I’m gettin’ money like I’m from the ’80s
Me and Drake ’bout to drop man, this shit gon’ go crazy
They know I’m the truth, comin’ straight from the basement
I’m straight as the street, man I come from the pavement
A million, all hundreds, it make em ‘go crazy
Wah-wah-wah, bitch I’m Lil Baby

[Chorus: Lil Baby]
Brand new whip got no keys
Tailor my clothes, no starch please
Soon as I nut, you can gon’ leave
Got M’s in the bank, like: “Yes, indeed”
Me and my dawg goin’ all the way
When you livin’ like this, they supposed to hate
Brand new whip got no keys
Tailor my clothes, no starch please
Soon as I nut, you can gon’ leave
Got M’s in the bank, like: “Yes, indeed”
Me and my dawg goin’ all the way
When you livin’ like this, they supposed to hate

[Outro: Future]
Wheezy out of here
