Panic! at the Disco put their own spin on the powerful tune, and the alternative pop-rock outfit’s version narrowly makes it to the chart, landing at No. 98.

In addition to the band’s “Into the Unknown” cover, the full Frozen 2 soundtrack features two other renditions of the film’s original tunes sung by high-profile pop artists. Kacey Musgraves sings the track “All Is Found,” while Weezer takes on “Lost in the Woods.” All the original songs were written by Oscar-winning Frozen songwriting duo Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, and all three covers appear over the film’s end credits.

Over the end credits, Panic! at the Disco also sings a cover of this jam, hitting all the same high notes as Idina Menzel, I might add. Personally, I’m curious as to why Brendon Urie insists on involving the rest of Panic! at the Disco in his musical theater ventures. (They straight-up sing songs from The Greatest Showman at concerts now; I have Instagram Stories from friends to prove it.) I guess they’re into it though.

After releasing five years ago his pop male cover of “Let It Go”, that was an unexpected overnight YouTube success (today over 700.000 views) thanks especially to the support of the website BroadwayWorld that published the video in their front page, Daniele Alan-Carter is presenting a Pop Male cover of the new Frozen single: “INTO THE UKNOWN”, in the Panic!

Over 50 spots below the all-female version, another take on “Into the Unknown” debuts on the Hot 100 at the same time. Panic! at the Disco put their own spin on the powerful tune, and the alternative pop-rock outfit’s version narrowly makes it to the chart, landing at No. 98. The track is the fifteenth tune from Panic! to reach the ranking.

Brendon Urie is a self-proclaimed “big fan” of Disney, and he contributed a powerful song to the new Frozen 2 film.

The tune, “Into the Unknown,” has an accompanying music video that sees the Panic! at the Disco frontman “giving the performance of a lifetime.”

Into The Unknown – Panic! At The Disco

[Intro]
Ah-ah, oh-oh
Ah-ah, oh-oh, oh-oh
Into the unknown
Into the unknown
Into the unknown
Ah-ah, oh-oh

[Verse 1]
I can hear you but I won’t
Some look for trouble
While others don’t
There’s a thousand reasons
I should go about my day
And ignore your whispers
Which I wish would go away, oh-oh-oh
Whoa-oh

[Verse 2]
You’re not a voice
You’re just a ringing in my ear
And if I heard you, which I don’t
I’m spoken for, I fear
Everyone I’ve ever loved is here within these walls
I’m sorry, secret siren, but I’m blocking out your calls
I’ve had my adventure, I don’t need something new
I’m afraid of what I’m risking if I follow you

[Chorus]
Into the unknown
Into the unknown
Into the unknown

[Post-Chorus]
Ah-ah, oh-oh
Ah-ah, oh-oh, oh-oh

[Verse 3]
What do you want? ‘Cause you’ve been keeping me awake
Are you here to distract me so I make a big mistake?
Or are you someone out there who’s a little bit like me?
Who knows deep down I’m not where I’m meant to be?
Every day’s a little harder as I feel your power grow
Don’t you know there’s part of me that longs to go

[Chorus]
Into the unknown?
Into the unknown
Into the unknown

[Post-Chorus]
Ah-ah, oh-oh
Ah-ah, oh-oh, oh-oh (Whoa-oh-oh)

[Bridge]
Are you out there?
Do you know me?
Can you feel me?
Can you show me?
Ah-ah, oh-oh
Ah-ah, oh-oh
Ah-ah, oh-oh (Oh-oh, oh-oh)
Oh-oh, oh-oh
Oh-oh, oh-oh
Oh-oh, oh-oh
Oh-oh, oh-oh

[Outro]
Where are you going?
Don’t leave me alone
How do I follow you
Into the unknown?
Woo!
