YoungBoy Never Broke Again says a collaboration with Drake is “in the works”

Rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again has revealed that a collaboration with Drake is “in the works” during a recent interview. The artist, who is currently awaiting trial for gun and drug charges, shared the news last week on streaming platform Stationhead.

#1: Drake ‘Certified Lover Boy’ – Drake nabs his fourth #1 album on the ARIA Charts as he debuts in the top spot with ‘Certified Lover Boy’. The Canadian hip hop star’s sixth album is his first since ‘Scorpion’ (#1 July ’18) and features contributions from Jay-Z, Kid Cudi, Travis Scott, Future, Young Thug, Yebba, 21 Savage and more. Between albums, Drake charted with the compilation ‘Care Package’ (#7 August ’19) and the mixtape ‘Dark Lane Demo Tapes’ (#1 May ’20). He first hit #1 with ‘Views’ in May 2016.

Drake: Certified Lover Boy

The Certified Lover Boy is selectively honest, occasionally heartless, and set in his ways. He’ll text, “I love you,” and pretend he doesn’t; he’ll ask for a sympathetic ear, but scoff and leave “if you throw another pity party” about your own troubles.

Drake Has A Song On His New Album Where He Calls Himself A Lesbian, And People Are Calling Him Out For It

“Girls Want Girls” is decidedly not a fan favorite. Fans are in agreement that these lyrics are just all-around problematic. None of this is a good look. Tell us your thoughts in the comments below. You can learn more about breaking down LGBTQ stereotypes in pop culture at GLAAD.

Drake first teased “Certified Lover Boy” in April 2019 and officially announced its title in August 2020, and somehow, after all that wait, the album seemed to suddenly arrive in a hurry Labor Day weekend, promoted with an international billboard campaign just days before its release.

Review: Drake is back with the bland and lackluster “Certified Lover Boy”

Before I start I will say I am no fan of Drake as a person, but have always enjoyed his music. When this album was released I was not expecting anything revolutionary or mind blowing due to the nature of Drake’s previous releases.

I done seen the realest ones come and leave a crazy way
Had to take my spot, it wasn’t somethin’ they just gave away
Sorry to all my fans that might’ve caught me on a crazy day
Fuck you niggas thinkin’ tryna block me on a fadeaway?

Say you go that way, I guess we both go the same way
Girls want girls where I’m from

Ayy, and you just got to Miami, need hotel rooms
Niggas told you that they love you, but they fell through
So you shotting ’42 ’cause you

Yeah, talkin’ all the shit that you done been through
Yeah, textin’ me and say, “I need to see you”

[Verse 2: Lil Baby]
My girl got a girlfriend
Ain’t tryna be out of shape, well, stay up on them curls then
If gym don’t work, get surgery
I’ll pay for that, my courtesy
Can’t imagine no bitch curvin’ me
I put in that work overly
I handle business
And I got two pretty bitches, keep ’em both on fleek
They got matching Benz and matching APs
Now they can really call each other twins
I’m cool with all the owners, they love me, so they gon’ let us in
And bring all of your peers, it look better with more people
We got 1942 Casamigos, it’s getting heated
They gotta follow us in the Uber, my car filled up with shooters
It be lights, camera, action when you with us, it’s a movie
I don’t drive my coupe to house parties, I’m tryna leave with two of ’em (Shh, shh)
Yeah, don’t nobody know the shit that we do
She like eating pussy, I’m like, “Me too”
I can’t wait to get off work to go and see you
Please bring your girlfriend along with you
Y’all been on my mind too much, like what the fuck is wrong with me?
She said it’s somethin’ about the way your girl just makes her feel
Whatever you’ve been dreamin’ ’bout, I swear to make it real
Just ride around the town with me
Then come lay down with me

[Pre-Chorus: Drake & Lil Baby]
I don’t know (I don’t know)
I might come, I might go, I don’t know (I don’t know, I don’t know)
I might come, I might go, I don’t know

[Chorus: Drake]
Starin’ at your dress ’cause it’s see-through
Yeah, talkin’ all the shit that you done been through
Yeah, say that you a lesbian, girl, me too
Ayy, girls want girls where I’m from
Wait, woah, yeah, girls want girls
Woah, yeah, woah, yeah, girls want girls where I’m from
Oh, yeah, yeah, girls want girls where
Yeah, woah, girls want girls where I’m from

[Outro: Drake]
But I know you wanna roll with the gang
And I know you want the finest of things
Askin’ me about se— settlin’ down ’cause you know that things are going my way

Drake’s 30 greatest songs – ranked!

Borne aloft on a blaze of horns and flanked by three all-time greats, this was Drake’s entry to rap’s big leagues: “Last name ever / first name greatest”, is how he opens his verse. It’s a rather corny boast and gets cornier still – punchlines like “at the club you know I balled: chemo” could be included in Christmas crackers, were they not deeply insensitive.
